The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office XII in partnership with the UniFAST Secretariat conducted its first joint hybrid orientation on the TES and TDP Amended Guidelines 2022 on Thursday, June 9.
Spearheaded by CHEDRO XII Director Nelia Alibin, the said orientation was initiated to fully orient the partner higher education institutions (HEIs) in Region XII on specific amendments provided on the guidelines of the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) and the Tulong-Dunong Program (TDP) of the Commission. This, as the Commission bats for a more efficient and effective implementation of the said programs with due respect to the amended guidelines provided.
The said orientation was graced by the officials and staff from the UniFAST Secretariat (Central Office), headed by UniFAST OIC-Executive Director, Atty. Ryan L. Estevez; and was also participated by the scholarship coordinators from the different HEIs in Region XII. UniFAST OIC-Executive Director, Atty. Ryan L. Estvez discussed the various sections on the amended TES guidelines. Meanwhile, the OIC for UniFAST – Regional Operations, Ms. Ana Millary Sibug presented the updated TES process flow and its annexes.

Further, in order to clarify the different concerns of the HEIs regarding to the implementation of the TES and TDP programs, the participants were given the opportunity to raise their queries, which were informatively addressed by UniFAST- OIC -Executive Director, Atty. Ryan Estevez and CHEDRO XII OIC-Chief Administrative Officer and Scholarship Coordinator, Ms. Jocelyn Santoceldes.
